ALMA rapidly responded to the state of emergency by pivoting from its Farm Stand to a curbside pick- up of FREE grocery kits to those most in need. ALMA is sharing 500 grocery kits to families each month for the rest of 2020, at no cost. The grocery kits include a selection of fresh and prepared foods.

Pull up along the gate and walk in to drop off. You are welcome to see the farm during your drop off.

Nourish LA is feeding their community with food donations from all around the local area. Excess food from farms, community trees, and food that would have otherwise been thrown out by supermarkets. Nourish LA takes this excess to feed who truly is in need.

Village Market Place was created by CSU with the goal of increasing access to healthy, affordable, high quality local foods, and create local jobs in South Central Los Angeles. They provide a weekly produce bag, which companies and individuals can sponsor for families in need. Each week subscribers receive a bag filled with seasonal fruits, vegetables & herbs sourced from CSU's urban mini-farm and local farmers.

No Us Without You is providing food security for undocumented Back Of House Staff and their families. Undocumented hospitality workers are the backbone of the hospitality industry. They are unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are not eligible for unemployment benefits even though they're taxed every paycheck.

ABOUT Future city Pantry
Future City Pantry runs a Free Food Market for the residents of Skid Row to address a need within a community where there is limited access to quality foods. They provide fresh produce, prepared foods, pantry staples and dry goods, hygiene products, reusable masks, clothing, and water. All of which is primarily donated and 100% volunteer-run.

Harbor City Food pantry is a family run non-profit serving Harbor City every Saturdays. They seek resources and work with partners to fight against hunger. They serve are 90 families per week. and are currently working on seniors meal to better serve them.
